I’ve got 5 fun facts for you today, mainly reporting on how my brokerage firm has performed in 2024. Brooke and I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas!

Fun Fact 1:
It can take as many as 15 years to grow a tree of typical height (6 to 7 feet) or as little as 4 years, but the average growing time for a marketable size is 7 years.

Fun Fact 2:
According to NAR & Brian Buffini, almost half of all real estate agents nationally sold no homes this past year.

Fun Fact 3:
Out of the top 10 brokerages in Colorado Springs, The Platinum Group, Realtors came in 4th through November with nearly $550m in total volume. (December numbers might see 2nd, 3rd & 4th place move around.) Note how fewer agents we have than the rest. I am thankful to be a part of a “quality over quantity” brokerage firm.

Fun Fact 4:
We are currently ranked 1st through November by a large margin for sales volume per agent with about $8.8m per agent.

We also lead the pack on transactions per agents this year at 14.1 through November.
