What is your background?

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas.  I played baseball in college and that year I discovered an awesome summer camp to work for during the summers called Pine Cove.  It was there where I met my wife, Brooke who is originally from Lincoln, Nebraska.  We got married in 2006.  Together we spent just over 12 years serving in leadership at Pine Cove in Texas.  In 2015, I became the Executive Director of Pine Cove Southeast, which required us to move to South Carolina. It was there that I established Pine Cove’s first expansion region and built the first camp outside of Texas, a family camp called Chimney Point.  After launching the camp, I decided to get into the career of serving people in Real Estate. After building our business, we decided to move our family and business to Colorado Springs and working and volunteering as much as possible.  We love Colorado and consider it our lifelong home.

What college(s) did you attend?

I attended Oklahoma Wesleyan University my freshman year on a baseball scholarship.  The following year, I transferred to Texas A&M University where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences.  My wife Brooke graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Music Performance Degree (you should hear her sing!).  In 2015 I earned my Master’s Degree in leadership from Dallas Seminary.

What are some of your hobbies?

I love learning, which usually ends up with me building things, whether woodworking projects, home improvements or even businesses!  My wife and I also own a home decor and lifestyle brand via web-store called Field Treasure Designs where we have sold goods all over the world!  It has since turned into a YouTube channel where I do tool reviews and DIY videos (Link Here: https://youtube.com/c/ftdI also love spending time with my kids and teaching them new things!

What single/event/person/thing has most changed your life?

I would have to say having children!  We currently have 3 of them – 10, 8 and 5 and not only do they keep me on my toes, but they teach me about the simplicity of life and the joy in small things.

What do you like most about helping people buy and sell a home?

My wife and I have bought and sold a few homes in our time together and we understand that it can be incredibly rewarding but it can also be very stressful. I love to help maximize the rewards of my client and to minimize the stress.

What is one unique thing about you?

I have been to Argentina 5 times and absolutely love it!

Final quote/saying/words?

“Welcome, Prince,’ said Aslan. ‘Do you feel yourself sufficient to take up the Kingship of Narnia?’

I – I don’t think I do, Sir,’ said Caspian. ‘I am only a kid.’

Good,’ said Aslan. ‘If you had felt yourself sufficient, it would have been proof that you were not.”

C. S. Lewis, Prince Caspian
