Hello Friends,
Today marks 25 years since September 11. I was a freshman in college when I woke to the news on the radio in Bartlesville, OK.
I want to take a second remember those who were killed, the families who still carry that loss, and the first responders who went in when everyone else was running out.
One thing that still stands out: on Flight 93, passengers and crew decided they would not let the plane be used as a weapon. Ordinary people chose each other in the worst minutes of their lives.
I’m holding the usual Fun Facts this week. Next Friday I’ll be back to the regular note.
Hug your loved ones and have a wonderful weekend,
Andrew
Quote I’m pondering:
“One of the worst days in America’s history saw some of the bravest acts in Americans’ history.” — President George W. Bush, Pentagon Memorial dedication, September 11, 2008
