There are currently over 8,000 real estate agents in Colorado Springs according to the Homes.com database. Competition is fierce. To survive as the single income earner for my family, I have to be good at what I do. Here are some other numbers I found interesting:
17,000 in Denver
5,000 in Honolulu
3,600 in Omaha
39,000 in Houston

Fun Fact 2:
This past May in Colorado Springs, active listings were up 10.6% when compared to last month and jumped 29.1% when compared to last year at this time. Supply is growing.

May saw a 12.9% increase in inventory when compared to last month. We are up nearly 1 month from this time last year to about 3.5 months of inventory.

Fun Fact 4:
Here is a look at the appreciation index for Colorado Springs since 2005. Even with uncertain market conditions today, we have seen a positive trend over 20 years.
