Hey Friends!
This week even though work has piled up a mile high, I took my family out for our first camping trip of the season for two nights. No regrets! That being said, I just have 2 fun facts for you today. Have a great weekend!
Blessings,
Andrew
Fun Fact 1: Prediction markets, where you can bet real money on everything from who will win the Indy 500 to how long it will be before Cuba is liberated, are becoming the best tools for assessing the likelihood of future events. These prediction markets are exploding. They need guardrails to prevent exploitation and fraud, but these markets are getting better at transmitting to us information about what the future likely holds.

Fun Fact 2: What are the average weekly wages by state? In Washington, D.C. workers earn nearly $2,400 per week on average, far above every U.S. state. The states of Washington, Massachusetts, and California rank among the top-paying states thanks to tech, finance, and professional services. The lowest-paying states average under $1,150 per week, highlighting America’s widening regional income gap. Colorado sits at #7 on the list.

Quote I’m pondering:
“Guard well your spare moments. They are like uncut diamonds. Discard them and their value will never be known. Improve them and they will become the brightest gems in a useful life.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson
