Fun Fact 1: According to a recent Economist/YouGov poll, over half of Americans aged 18-29 are pessimistic about AI, and over 60% are very worried or somewhat worried about AI replacing jobs. The feelings are only deteriorating more over time, with anger and anxiety becoming the dominant emotions over excitement and hope.

Fun Fact 2: 80 championships have been awarded since the NBA’s first season in 1947 — one per year, through the 2026 Finals. The Nicks has d a 53 year wait between their last championship and this years. The Celtics (18) and Lakers (17), together hold 44% of every title ever won. 10 have never won.

Fun Fact 3: SpaceX officially became the biggest IPO in history, raising a total of $85.7 billion. That’s $60 billion more than the 2nd largest IPO, Saudi Aramco ($25.6 billion raised in 2019). At the $135 per share IPO pricing, SpaceX was valued at $1.77 trillion. It opened for trading last Friday at $150 per share, closed at $161, and has traded as high as $225 this week. That pushed its market cap up to nearly $3 trillion, surpassing both Amazon and Microsoft to become the 4th largest company in the world.
