The consumer price index is cumulatively up 19% since the start of 2020. (Under normal conditions where the Fed meets their inflation target of 2% per year, it would instead be up by approximately 8% since then.) According to Lyn, “this permanently higher plateau in prices is why, although prices are cooling down in rate of change terms, inflation still feels high for a lot of people”.

Last year, 472 agents left the top 20 brokerages in Colorado Springs. A total of 470 were added.

Commentary: There are a total of 1,749 agents in these 20 brokerages alone, not to mention the other thousands in our community. The job of a Realtor is competitive. I say bring it on. (I’m proud of the next fun facts.)

Last year, The Platinum Group, Realtors averaged 14.7 transactions per agent, almost doubling the next best.
