Fun Fact 1:
Total credit card debt tops $1 trillion for the first time ever.

Fun Fact 2:
The spike in mortgage rates combined with falling home prices/rents has led to a collapse in investor demand for homes in the US. Investor purchases fell 45% over the last year, outpacing the 31% decline in overall home sales.

Fun Fact 3:
US Rents are 1.2% lower than a year ago, the biggest YoY decline since December 2020.

Fun Fact 4:
The percentage of teenagers who are working in America is incredibly low.  In the 1950s, almost half of teenagers were working.  That work rate slid slightly in the 40 percent to 45 percent range when baby boomers and Gen Xers were teens in the 1970s, and 1980s.
