Fun Fact 1:
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer developed as a marketing ploy. Santa’s most famous reindeer got his start in 1939, when a writer for the Montgomery Ward department store used Rudolph to boost profits during the holiday season. In the first year alone 2.4 million copies were distributed.

US gas prices have moved down to about $3.10/gallon (national average), which is their lowest levels of the year.
