Fun Fact 1:
The interest payments on US National Debt are on pace to surpass Defense in 2024 as the 3rd largest Federal Government expenditure. Only Social Security and Medicare are forecasted to be higher over the next decade.

The politics of America’s housing issues in one chart:

All three Case-Shiller Indexes (10 City, 20 City and National) are currently at their all-time nominal highs. For reference, the 10 City (tracked since 1987) are Boston, Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Diego, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. The 20 City (tracked since 2000) are the addition of Atlanta, Charlotte, Cleveland, Dallas, Detroit, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Portland, Seattle and Tampa.
