Fun Fact 1:

The average price for a 30-second Super Bowl commercial this year has moved up to a record $7 million, 169% higher than the cost in 2010 ($2.6 million).  In 1967 during the first Super Bowl the price was $42k.

Fun Fact 2:
January had 1,494 supply of Active Listings, a decrease of 7.5% when compared to last year at this time.

Fun Fact 3:
New Listings hit 747 which was down 7.2% when compared to last year. Last year at this time we saw 805 new listings.

Fun Fact 4:
Pending Properties were down slightly by 0.6% year-over-year. Last year saw 704 pending units in January.

Fun Fact 5:
January saw a 14.8% increase in Months Supply of Inventory (Active Listings) when compared to last year at this time, landing at 3.1 months.

Commentary: We are moving towards a balanced market (average months’ supply of 4 to 5 months), but we will see what the Spring has in store.

The Percent of Closed Price to Original List Price moved up 2.0% when compared to this time last year, to 98%.
